A2 Letter is a project initiated by two friends: Cyril and Yves intend to create a source of inspiration that is based upon the idea of digital feeds, but takes advantage of the quality and superiority of analog. A2 Letter intends to connect the best of both worlds and bring sound and surprising inspiration to the homes and offices of creative minds on a regular basis.
For whom is A2 Letter designed?
A2 Letter wants to serve as platform for people of all ages and of all creative walks and appeal to people who enjoy a carefully curated, printed and unique source of inspiration.
Where is A2 Letter produced?
A2 Letter is printed by Carsten Puhlmann in Dresden (DE) and delivered globally by Swiss Post International.

What content can I expect as subscriber?
We’ll never know exactly. Hundreds of creative pieces of work are waiting to be selected by our top-class curators and mailed to your home. A2 Letter is not limited to just one category but open to inspiration. It ranges from digital art and photography to product design or journalism. A2 Letter intends to surprise!
Will my subscription be extended automatically?
Yes, your credit card will be charged with € 2.99 monthly unless you cancel your subscription or put it on hold.
How can I change my delivery address?
You can make changes to your delivery address in your A2-Account any time.
2.99 Euro per month is a great deal! Will there be any additional costs as subscriber?
No. Regular inspiration doesn’t have to be expensive!
I am subscriber and didn’t receive the A2 Letter.
Please verify your delivery address in your A2-account. There can be certain delays in delivery depending on the country of the recipient. Unfortunately in rare cases it may happen that a letter doesn’t arrive. If your delivery address in your account is correct and you didn’t receive an A2 Letter for more than one issue, please contact us and we will try to find a solution immediately.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel and activate your subscription at any time in your A2-account.

What contents can I send in?
A2 Letter intends to surprise and inspire – be daring! That’s the only requirement. Anything can be sent in as long as it can be printed on paper: whether it’s a film still, an illustration, a picture series or a rendering of your architecture – in the end one of our curators will decide subjectively if your piece of work should inspire our subscribers. If you need a theme, take this one. Prerequisite: you have the copyright on the work you’re submitting.
In what format may I send in my work?
We accept files in JPG or PNG formats, preferably in RGB color space (the files will be converted by us before print). The file you’re uploading needs to measure 7000 by 5000 pixels. There’s a good chance your initial file won’t have this much information, but if the sides of your image measure half as many pixels, you can scale it to our size requirements and it should still look good. Just place your content onto our template, export it as JPG or PNG with 300 dpi and then check if the quality fits your expectations. If you don’t know how to set up the file, ask a friend for help!
Do you print spot color, eg. Pantone?
Not at the time being, but we are working on it. We hope to offer this possibility in the near future.
I don’t work in the creative field professionally. May I still submit a piece of work?
Of course, A2 Letter is an open platform.
How and by whom will the creative works be selected?
We invest a lot of time to recruit top-class, leading and well-known professionals from the international creative scene as curators for A2 Letter. Our curators will select four pieces of work each month from the A2 content pool to be printed and issued. The curator will provide reason of choice on the reverse side of each edition.
Will I be paid for my work?
Yes, of course: We reward every printed piece of work with € 1000.
How will I be paid?
In general we will pay your reward with bank transfer or Paypal. We will contact you immediately as soon as your work has been selected so you can provide us with your account information and the preferred method of payment.
Which rights on my work do I give up to A2 Letter?
By sending in your work to A2 Letter you give us your consent – given your work will be selected and printed – to send out your work in the format A2 worldwide to our subscribers. Further you give us your approval to advertise for A2 Letter with your work. As long as your work hasn’t been picked by one of our curators you won’t give us any rights of use. For further information please read our terms and conditions.
How will I be informed if my work has been selected?
We will contact you immediately if a curator has picked your work. At that point we will also inform you about the date of publication so you can share this with your friends and family.
Do I need a subscription to A2 Letter to admit my work?
No, you don’t. Although we hope to attract as many interested people as possible as subscribers, submission is open to everyone. All admitted works are treated equally.
Do I need a subscription to A2 Letter in order to receive the A2 Letter with my selected work?
Yes. As soon as your work has been selected, we will inform you about the publishing date. If you haven’t subscribed to A2 Letter at that point, it’s high time!
